Browsing: Young Public Intellectuals

Comprehensive exchange programme between Türkiye and Europe for young academics (MA/PhD) and early-career public intellectuals. The programme is structured across three phases: the first in-person training was held in August 2025 at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam with 18 Europe-based participants, covering regional politics, security, democratic backsliding, environmental governance, digital activism, and public communication skills; the second in-person training took place in November 2025 in Türkiye with 18 Türkiye-based young public intellectuals, strengthening the long-term intellectual and civic bridges between the two cohorts. A regional forum co-organised with the College of Europe – Tirana consolidated the programme’s European dimension and established a lasting network of young public intellectuals across borders. Now participants are creating cross-border and interdisciplinary outputs.
